Mr. Mitchell Grant was born on December 30, 1921 to the late Rev. Guy and Eliza Mitchell Grant in Warren County, Georgia. He departed from this life on January 27, 2019 at the loving age of 97 in his home surrounded by family and friends. He was always a giving person and willing to help anyone in need. He was known for his famous phrase, “you don’t hear me?” His beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of everyone he touched.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories; a faithful, loving and caring wife of 45 years, Annie R. Grant of Thomson, Georgia; three biological daughters, Tereatha G. Nwankwo and Felicia (Ronald) Brown of Thomson, Georgia & Kim (Willie) Quinn of Washington, Georgia and adopted daughter, Miranda (Keith) Ramsey of Charlotte, North Carolina; one son, Jeffery Randall of Thomson, Georgia; one sister, Rosa G. Hall of Brooklyn, New York; two sister-in-laws: Mattie B. Lazenby of Thomson, Georgia and Daisy Grant of Mesena, Georgia; one brother-in-law: C Jr (JoAnn) Randall of Warrenton, Georgia, fifteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and eighteen great great-grandchildren leaving FIVE generations of Grants and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
