Mrs. Marian L. Reese

With sincere sympathy, we announce the passing of Mrs. Marian Reese, age 88 who entered into rest  on January 19, 2020 at the residence, 1287 Old Salem Road Thomson. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at12 noon at the Bethel A.M.E. Church in Norwood, Ga. The body will lie in state beginning  at 11 am until the hour of service. The interment and repast will follow at the church cemetery & fellowship hall. The funeral procession will leave the residence,  1287 Old Salem Road at 10:45 am on Saturday. She is survived by her loving and devoted children, Marilyn Elaine (Rev. DeWayne) Cowins and Steve Reese both of Thomson, GA; three grandchildren, James Leon Reid, Jr. (Lakesha), LaStacia Reese, and Jaliah Reese; two great-grandchildren, Xavier Reid and Lauryn Reid; her extended families, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Poston and family and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Dudley and family; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.Her loving and caring family will cherish her memories. Family and friends can contact the residence or at the funeral home.
