Mrs. Nellie Pearl Jones Sallywhite was born on October 3, 1948 to the late Otis Jones, Sr & Mattie P. Crawford in McDuffie County, Georgia. She entered into rest on Tuesday, May 16, 2018 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Rufus Sallywhite, father, Otis & Doris Jones; Sr; sisters, Bobbie Jean Roberts & Carolyn Jones & two brothers, Eddie Lee Jones & Daniel Jones.
She leaves to cherish her memories; a loving & devoted son, Tony Jones of Bryan, TX; a loving mother, Mattie P. Crawford; a devoted niece & goddaughter, Cheryl (Charles) Lawson of Augusta, Georgia; four grandchildren, Ethin Brisby, Anthony Jones, Isaiah Jones & Ashlee Howard all of Bryan Texas; one great grandson, Kanan Brisby of Bryan Texas; six sisters, Elease (Bennie) Hester, Susan Moton both of Thomson, Elizabeth Ann Bell of Mesena, Georgia, Lena (Gene) Jones, Pauline Webb & Belinda Chubb all of Augusta, Georgia; eight brothers, Rev. Nathaniel (Sharon) Jones, Sr, Melvin Crawford & Willie Clarence Crawford all of Thomson, Georgia & Robert Jones & Ricky Jones both of Mesena, Georgia,& John Henry Crawford & Daniel Crawford both of Augusta, Georgia & Otis Jones, Jr of West Palm Beach, Florida; three sisters in law, Brenda Daniels of Marrietta, Georgia, Lillie Ann Sallywhite & Dorothy Jones both of Thomson, Georgia; five brothers in law; Ronald Lee Sallywhite, Tommy Roy Sallywhite, James Sallywhite, Benjamin Sallywhite & Willie Joe Sallywhite and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. The funeral procession will leave the residence of her sister, Elease (Bennie) Hester, 318 Bussey Avenue Thomson at 12:20 on Tuesday.
