With sincere sympathy, we announce the passing of retired Army Major, Charles Westley Brickhouse Jr., age 58, of Dearing, Georgia who entered into rest on Sunday, April 12, 2020 at the Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton, North Carolina.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at 4:00 o’clock pm at the First Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 6269 Cobbham Road Appling, Georgia in accordance with the CDC, federal, state and the local guidelines. To avoid the spread of this contagious COVID-19 virus, we ask that it shall be a social gathering of ten (10) people or less. The family is ask to assemble at the church at 3:30. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles W. & Clementine Brickhouse, Sr., and mother-in-law, Frances Cummings.
Charles leaves to cherish his memories; a loving & devoted wife, Becky Brickhouse of Dearing, Georgia; three daughters, Alysha Harvey of Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania & Essense and Faith Brickhouse both of Hephzibah, Georgia; step-daughter, Latoya J. Johnson (Michael) of Harlem, Georgia; step-son, Freddie Jones (Shannin) of Atlanta, Georgia; two siblings, Curtis Brickhouse (Maria) of Buffalo, NewYork and Carla Brickhouse of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; father-in-law, Harold Cummings of Appling, Georgia; two sisters -in-law, Joyce Lewis & Jacqulin (Curtis) Wright; three brothers -in- law, Robert Howard, Harold (Myra) Cummings Jr., and Charles (Marion) Bailey; grandchildren, Kaleb Brickhouse and Abrianna Johnson; a niece, Katelyn Brickhouse; one nephew, Christian Brickhouse; two childhood best friends, Michael Briddell & Mark Clark and a host of other cousin, friends and neighbors near and far.
Funeral services have been Entrusted to the D.T. Brown Memorial Funeral Home.
