Deacon Tommy Lee Burgess, Sr.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Deacon Tommy Lee Burgess, Sr., who entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 27, 2026.

The Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 11:00 am at the Springfield Baptist Church, 523 M.L.K. Jr., Street Thomson, Georgia. The Body will lie in state beginning at 10:00 am until the hour of the service. The interment will be in The First Mt. Carmel Memorial Gardens in Appling, Georgia. The Repast will be held at The B.R.W. Nutritional Center. The Visitation will begin on Thursday from 12 noon to 6:00 pm. The funeral procession will leave the residence on Friday at 10:25 am. His loving & devoted family will cherish his precious memories.
