Mrs. Elizabeth “Liz” Mitts Anderson age 70 of Thomson, Georgia entered into rest on May 23, 2019 at the University Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. The Celebration of Life will be held Friday, May 31, 2019 at 1 pm at the First Mt Carmel Baptist Church, Appling, Georgia. The body will lie in state beginning at 12 noon until the hour of service. She is survived by two children, Gwendolyn Grissom of Thomson Georgia & Jessie Grissom of Arizona; five grandchildren, Marquez Felts, Ashley Felts, Jared Grissom, Deshanndra Williams and Antonio Grisson all of Thomson Georgia; five great grandchildren, Kamaria Grisson, Kimora Grisson, Raviyona Grisson all of Augusta, Ga; seven step sons, Beaver, Mitts , Sammy Mitts, Robert Mitts, Alton Mitts all of Gibson Georgia, Glenn Mitts & Joe Mitts both of Thomson, Georgia; one step daughter, Melinda Kitchens of Gibson, Georgia; two devoted aunts, Connie Cummings of Dearing, Georgia & Mazel Jones of Thomson, Georgia; two special friends, Veronica West  & Shakemia Smith both of Augusta, Georgia and a host of  other relatives and friends.

The funeral procession will leave the residence at 12:10 pm on Friday. The repast will be held privately.
