Mary Reese

With sincere sympathy, we announce the passing of Ms. Mary Reese formerly of Camak-Warrenton, Georgia, entered into rest on Monday, December 23, 2019 at the Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 2:30 pm at the Lithonia Baptist Church, Rev. Lyndon Heath, Pastor & Rev. Johnnie Hunter, Eulogist. The body will lie in state beginning at 1:30 pm until the hour of service.  The Interment will follow in the Future Progress Society Cemetery.  The viewing will begin on Monday from 12 noon to 7 pm at the funeral home. She is survived by her husband, Henry Smith, Sr., children, Latrice Cheeley of Wrens, Georgia & three son, Telley Cheeley (Natalya) of Thomson, Georgia, Henry Smith, Jr (Keili) of Atlanta, Georgia and Christopher Smith of Wadley, Georgia; five grandchildren; seven sisters, Gwendolyn Johnson, Judy (Otis) Hudson, Vera (John) Bartie & Cecilia (Willie) Ivey all of Warrenton, Georgia, Ella (Furman) Kendrick of Thomson, Georgia & June (Floyd) Reese-Simmons & Denise (Artis) Schaffer both of Atlanta, Georgia; two brothers, Otis (Ida) Reese 111 of Camak, Georgia & Leon (Cornelia) Reese of Alma, Georgia; sister in law, Evelyn Reese of Warrenton, Georgia; aunt, Helen Reese of Detroit, Michigan and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The funeral procession will leave the residence of Otis (Ida) Reese at 2:00 pm, Family and friends can contact the residence of her brother, Otis Reese III of  Camak, Georgia or at the funeral home.
