With heartfelt and sincere sympathy, we announce the passing of Mr. Augustus Lee Green Sr., age 87, who entered into eternal rest on September 30, 2021 at the University Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. The Graveside Service will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 11 am at the Future Progress Society Cemetery, which is located at the Lithonia Baptist Church. The Viewing will begin on Thursday from 1 pm to 7 pm at the funeral home. The funereal procession will leave the residence at 10:15 am on Friday. NO Viewing will be done at the Graveside Service on Friday.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic epic challenges, the family will not be receiving visits at the primary residence. All visits are welcomed and appreciated at The D.T. Brown Funeral Home. We will inform you when the viewings will be available. Also, The Green Family further requests that everyone please make a voluntary donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation in the memory of Augustus Lee Green St., instead of purchasing food or flowers. Also, the family requests that everyone please wear a mask during the Viewing & Graveside Service & practice social distancing. Please keep The Green Family in your thoughts and prayers.
Note: If it shall be raining then the service will held in the inside of the Lithonia Baptist Church for the immediate family members only, which will include the spouse, the children and their spouses, grandchildren, program participants and everyone else can listen to the service on the radio in the parking lot of the church.
