With heartfelt & sincere sympathy, The D.T. Brown Memorial Funeral Home announces the passing of Mr. John Henry Cummings, age 65 of 830 Ferrous Road Thomson, Georgia, who entered into rest on Saturday, August 15, 2020.
The Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 12 noon at the First Mt. Carmel Memorial Gardens. Viewing will begin on Friday from 12 noon until 7 pm at the funeral home. The funeral procession will leave the residence on Saturday at 11:20 am.
He leaves to cherish his memories: a son, John D. Hall; eight sisters, Susie Clinkscales, Dorothy (Charles) Sanford, Fannie Roland, Elma J. (John) Byrdsell, Nora Douglas, Eleanor Brinkley, Lillie Hanson, and Bessie (Willie) Calvin; and four brothers, Leroy (Elaine) Cummings, Jule (Priscilla) Cummings, Ben (Zakiah) Cummings, and James (Mary) Cummings. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and dear friends.
NOTE: The funeral home administration is requesting that all that attend the viewing and the graveside service wear a mask and practice social distancing.
