With heartfelt & sincere sympathy, we announce the passing of Mr. Moses Brinkley, age 87 of Norwood, Georgia, who entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 4, 2022 in Tuskegee, Alabama. The Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 11 am at the Lithonia Baptist Church- Future Progress Society Cemetery. The Viewing will begin on Friday from 12 noon to 7 pm at the funeral home. No Viewing will be done at the Graveside Service on Saturday. The family requests that everyone assemble at the Lithonia Baptist Church on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. He is survived by five sons, Alvin Lee (Marcella) Brinkley, Kenneth Otto (Linda) Brinkley, Avery Moses (Theresa) Brinkley, Theodore Jerome Brinkley, Donald (Tracey) Johnson; five daughters, Lurene Lowe, Mary Johnson, Jacquelyn (Tony) Tyler, Cynthia Johnson, and Tammy Bostic; two sisters, Mary B. Williams and Mattie S. Brinkley; one brother, Bobby Gene (Evelyn) Brinkley; a special friend, Eleanor Brinkley; five step-children that he loved as his own, Pierce Lampkin, Jr., Minister Leanna (Robert) Thorpe, Dana Thomas, Charles (Lillie) Cummings and Cynthia Cummings; a special grand-daughter, Kiersten Perkins; and a host of other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
