With heartfelt and sincere sympathy, The D.T. Brown Funeral Home announce the passing of Mrs. Laura Bell Bussey Cummings, who entered into rest on Friday, July 24, 2020 while at her residence.
Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 10 am at the First Mt Carmel Memorial Gardens in Appling, Georgia. Viewing will begin on Friday at the funeral home from 11 am to 7 pm.
Those who will continue to tread this earthly sojourn, while holding fondly and dearly to her legacy include: a devoted daughter Brenda (Peter, devoted son-in-law) Gardner, Ronney (Ruth, devoted daughter-in-law) Bussey; six loving grandchildren, Jameka Gardner, Jakesha Gardner, Shala Bussey, Rico Bussey, Ronney (Trulanda) D. Bussey, Conquista Benning. One bonus grandson, Jaylan Cummings,and one bonus granddaughter, Shatavia Martin; five great grandchildren; five sisters, Isabella Ramsey, Catherine Hunt, Daisy Boyd, Ola (Eugene) Bailey, and Adell (James) Ramsey; three brothers-in-law, Vernon Thomas Sr., Walter Cummings, and Harold Cummings; four sisters-in-law, Idell Ramsey, Essie Shanks, Mary Ruth Bussey, and Hattie Bussey; one loving goddaughter, Ferry Pitts and one loving great goddaughter, Tershema Pitts; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
