With heartfelt and sincere sympathy, we announce the passing of Mrs. Lois Patricia Miranda, who entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 20, 2022.
The Funeral Service for Mrs. Lois Thomas Dunn Miranda will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 11 am at the First Mt Carmel Baptist Church, Rev. Roscoe Perry, Pastor. The body will lie in state beginning at 10 am until the hour of service. The Public Viewing will begin on Friday from 11 am to 7 pm at the funeral home. The Procession will leave the residence of her daughter, Lashunda Dunn, 246 Cedar Street at 10:15 am on Saturday.
She leaves to cherish her memories: two devoted daughters, Deborah Dunn Rivers (Terry Bly) and Lashunda Dunn (Marquez Avera), both of Thomson, Georgia; sisters, Amy Lee Benson, Emma Cartledge, and Catherine Cartledge, all of Thomson, Georgia; brothers, Deacon Vernon Thomas, Sr., and Ellis Cartledge, both of Thomson, Georgia; sisters-in-law, Catherine Bussey Hunt of Appling, Georgia, and Gerrie Thomas of Riverdale, Georgia; aunts, Gwendolyn Thomas and Lille Mae Thomas, both of Deland, Florida; uncle, Adam (Betty) Thomas of Deland, Florida; grandchildren, Dontavious Dunn, Sr., (Shan John Johnson) , Tra’Eghtquaneshea “Tra” Ivey (Joshua Hampton), Marquavious Avera, Marquez Avera, Jr., and Benjamin Matthew (Luke) Taylor, all of Thomson, Georgia, and Hezekiah (Shamaria) Murray of Hinesville, Georgia; great-grandchildren, Dontavious Dunn, Jr., Jalia Hampton, Taylor McCain, and Jacary McCain, all of Thomson, Georgia, Justin Dozier, Kaiden Murray, and Sariyah Murray, all of Hinesville, Georgia; devoted nieces and nephews, Joyce Luke El-amin of Atlanta, Georgia, and Tonya Borum Wilson, Vernon (Juanita) Thomas, Jr., and Willie Stokes, all of Thomson, Georgia; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
