Mrs. Lucy Mae "Bonnie" (Ivey) Collins

With heartfelt and sincere sympathy, we announce the transitioning of Mrs. Lucy Mae Ivey-Collins, age 74, affectionately called "Bonnie" of Camak, Georgia, who entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. The Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 2:00 o'clock p.m. at The Warren County Career Academy, (the old Warren County High School) located at 115 Gibson Highway Warrenton, Georgia. The Body will lie in state beginning at 1:00 p.m. The Interment will follow the funeral service in The Westview Cemetery in Thomson, Georgia. The Repast will follow the interment at The Warrenton Cultural Center in Warrenton, Georgia. The family has request a Viewing from 2 pm to 6 pm. ose left to mourn her passing and to forever cherish her loving memory: her husband, Joe Collins of Camak, GA; two sons, Calvin (Deborah) Collins of Thomson, GA, Lavez (Nakisha) Collins of Grovetown, GA, and one daughter, Lukectria (Corey) Smith of Stockbridge, GA; ten grandchildren, Wyneccia, Kayla, Alexis, Jarvis, Cortorius, Zakiyah, Calyhia, Zhaylee, Kyndal, and Keiden; four brothers, Willie C. (Theresa) Ivey of Thomson, GA, J.C. Ivey, George Ivey, and Rudolph (Teresa) Ivey, all of Warrenton, GA; three sisters, Catherine Collins of Warrenton, GA, Wanda Walker, and Bridgett Ivey of Augusta, GA; one sister-in-law, Lillie Sturgis, and one brother-in-law, Jimmie Collins, both of Thomson, GA; one aunt, Dorothy Ivey of Warrenton, GA; a best friend of over 50 years, Stella Lee of Camak, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
