With heartfelt and sincere sympathy, the D.T. Brown Memorial Funeral Home announce the passing of Rev. Tony Seals, who entered into rest on August 6, 2020 at his residence.
The Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at 10 am at the Union Springs Baptist Church, 209 Tucker Road Norwood, Georgia. The viewing will begin on Saturday from 2 pm until 7 pm at the funeral home. The funeral procession will leave the residence at 9:15 am on Sunday.
The D.T. Brown Funeral Home is abiding by all the guidelines of the CDC, federal, state and the local government during this COVID -19 pandemic. Also, we ask that everyone that attend the viewing and the service wear a mask and practice social distancing.
He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of thrity four years, Penny Seals; five children, Tayon Seals, Lakenda Seals and Patrice Booker of Conley, Georgia, and Cherkendriece Williams and Peneka Wells (Antwan) of Thomson, Georgia; his Beloved Mother, Lottie Mae Myrick of Norwood, Georgia; two sisters, Phyllis Taylor of Norwood, GA and Karen Myrick (Tracy) of Athens, GA; 15 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; five uncles, Tommy C. Seals (Kathleen), Rev. Charlie C. Myrick (Susie) of Norwood, Charlie “Randy” Myrick and Willie “Joint” Myrick of Warrenton, GA and Caldwell Myrick, Jr. (Ramona) of Chicago IL; seven aunts, Cleo Seals, Allie Bell Myrick, Evonne Myrick, and Rose Marion Myrick, all of Norwood, GA, Hattie Towns of East Orange, NJ, Beverly Fuller of Augusta, GA and Santa Marie “Faye” Myrick of Thomson, GA; six brothers-in-law, Johnnie C. Duggans, Jr. (Tamara) of Fayetteville, GA, Robert Duggans (Regina) of Milledgeville, GA, Timothy Heath (Tina) and Stacy Heath of Jonesboro, GA, Cornelius Duggans of Athens, GA, and Calvin Duggans (Anna) of Las Vegas, NV; five sisters-in-law, Essie Jennings and Cheryl Davis (Darrell) of Decatur, GA, Teresa Berry (Jimmy Lee) of Warrenton, GA, Renae Heath of Rockmart, GA, and Quanta Heath of Jonesboro, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a countless number of friends. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the D.T. Brown Funeral Home, 810 Martin Luther King Jr., Street.
