Roosevelt "Spote" Norman

With heartfelt and sincere sympathy, we announce the passing of Mr. Roosevelt "Spote" Norman, age 92 of Thomson, who entered into rest on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at the the Lake Crossing Health Center in Appling, Georgia. Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 11 am at the Winns Oliver A.M.E. Church Cemetery. The viewing will begin on Monday from 1 pm to 7 pm at the funeral home. The family requests that everyone  assemble at the cemetery at 10:20 am on Tuesday. 

He is survived by seven daughters, Brenda Franklin, Diane ( John) Barnett, Annie (Wilbur) Hampton, Gladys (Willie) Moss, Mary (Stevenson) Young, Gloria Jones & Annie (Tony) Battle; step-daughter, Juanita Boyd Appling, 
 six sons, Willie Jones, Leon Jones, Steven Jones, Larry Norman, Willie (Geraldine)  Norman;  thirty-three grandchildren; fifty- eight great grandchildren;  sister, Erline (Franklin) Richardson; brother, Willie (Ruby) Berry; sister-in-law, Dorothy Smalley; brothers-in-law, Royal Kendrick, Reynolds Few, Michael Dunn & Solomon Wilson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.   Please keep the Norman Family in your thoughts and prayers. 

NOTE: The family requests that everyone wear a mask while attending the Viewing and Graveside Service.
