Samuel Benning Jr

Mr. Samuel Benning Jr. entered into rest on February 6, 2019 at his residence. The Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11 am at the First Mt Moriah Baptist Church in Appling, Georgia. The body will lie in state on Saturday at the church from 10 am until the hour of service. The Interment and the Repast will follow at the First Mt Moriah Baptist Church in Appling, Georgia. Viewing will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019  from 9 am to 11 am at the funeral home and then from 4 pm to 7 pm at the First Mt Moriah Baptist Church.

He is survived by his children, Steven Jerome Benning of Evans Georgia, Debbie Brown (Michael) of Atlanta Georgia, Kelly Renee Hathcock of Martinez Georgia and Dawn Crystal Benning-Brown of Evans Georgia; six grandchildren, Lance Smith (Victoria) of Atlanta, Georgia, Terrell Benning, Jamar Brown, Maiyah Benning all of Evans Georgia, Michael Brown (Tia) and Brandon Brown both of Atlanta Georgia; three great grandchildren, Charlie Benning, Olivia Smith and Charlee Brown; one brother, Spudgion Benning (Marsha) of Syracuse NY and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral procession will leave the residence at 10:20 am on Saturday.

NOTE: All flowers deliveries can be sent or delivered to the First Mt Moriah Baptist Church, 1876 Appling Harlem Road Appling, Georgia on Friday between 4 pm and 7 pm and from 9:30 to 11 am on Saturday or to the funeral home.
