Stevenson Young

With heartfelt and sincere sympathy, we announce the passing of Mr. Stevenson Young, age 67, of Warrenton, Georgia, who entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 10, 2023 at the Piedmont Hospital in Thomson, Georgia. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023 at The Fellowship Baptist Church, 9109 County Line Rd Mitchell, Georgia, Rev. Tracy Lee, Pastor. The Interment will be in the church cemetery. The Viewing will begin on Thursday from 11 am to 6 pm at the funeral home. The Repast will follow the Interment back at the residence. The funeral procession will leave the residence, 1275 Garthright Road at 1:10 pm on the Friday.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and devoted wife, Mary Young of Warrenton, GA; three sons, Calvin (Jessica) Brown of Louisville, KY, Richie Young of Covington, GA, and Stevenson Young II of Warrenton, GA; three daughters, Rosemary (Cornelius) Bray, and Monique Young of Warrenton, GA, and Stephanie Young of Augusta, GA; two children-in-love, Tremouisia Reese and Timmenton Menchaca of Warrenton, GA; four sisters, Cornelia Thrower of Philadelphia, PA, Brenda Robertson of Mitchell, GA, Alvester Walton and Gwendolyn Young of Conyers, GA; one brother, Sylester Young of Trevose, PA; six brothers-in-law, Larry Norman, Steven Jones, and Willie (Geraldine) Norman, all of Warrenton, GA, Leon Jones and John Burnett of Thomson, GA, and Willie Jones of Augusta, GA; seven sisters-in-law, Annie Mae (Tony) Battle, Mary Ruth Young, Choicey Young, and Minnie Young of Warrenton, GA, Gladys (Willie) Moss and Annie Pearl (Wilbert) Hampton of Thomson, GA, and Gloria Jones of Dearing, GA; seventeen grandchildren, Jamya, Destiny, Devon, Jaden, Jordan, Tamia, Simone, Justyn, Stemarius, Darius, Jada, Jamar, Courtney, Chase, Jonah, Calvin Jr., and Sirreco; one great-grandchild, Kylen; and a beloved host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

The family requests that EVERYONE wear a mask to the Viewings and to the Funeral Service. Please keep Mary Young & Family in your thoughts and prayers.
