Funeral Service for Mr. Willie "Bubba" Hill, Jr. will be held Sunday, October 25, 2020 at 4:00 pm at the D.T. Brown Memorial Chapel. Viewing will begin at 1:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
I have fought a good fight; I have finished my course. I have kept the faith; henceforth, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, the righteous Judge, will give me at that day.
Death is a golden key that opens eternity. In the quietness of the morning on October 19th, 2020,the golden key opened eternity for “Bubba” at University Hospital in Augusta, Georgia and he peacefully entered into Heaven’s gate. Willie Hill, affectionately known as “Bubba”, was born December 9th,1961 to the late Willie and Essie Hill. At an early age, he accepted Christ as his personal Savior. “Bubba” had a passion for shopping and dressing. He was the sweetest, soft-spoken, savvy-swag walking man with the biggest smile.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Essie Hill Sr., one brother Sammie L. Crawford; one sister Carolyn Hill, one sister in law, Allene Crawford; and one niece, Shawnte Crawford.
He is survived by one daughter, Latanciea (Curtis) Watley; one brother,Booker T. (Ida) Davis of Augusta, Georgia, one devoted nephew, Carey (Maria) Crawford of Grovetown, Georgia; two nieces, Caroline (Tyrone) Warthen of Appling, Georgia and Victoria Rasoll of Augusta, Georgia; grandchildren, Sha’Ria Watley, Lae’lah Watley, and Jamal Watley; great nieces and nephews, Erica Hunt, Torrence Green, Starlicia Parks, Rafeal Parks, Lafeal Parks, Amarurie Parks, and Simone Parks; devoted friends, Peter (Brenda) Gardner, Jameka and Jakesha Gardner, Aquila (Travis) Sullivan, and a host of other family and friends.
